About Us

New Jersey Guitar and Bass Center opened in 1982 with a commitment to customer satisfaction.
Whether you're looking for a quality, affordable beginner guitar or you're ready to order that custom boutique bass, we can help you.

We inspect and set up all of our instruments before we offer them for sale, new and used.
We can also service your instrument after your purchase (or an instrument you already own).
We do set ups, fret dressing and other repairs to keep your instrument ship-shape (though if you prefer we can do guitar-shape instead).

Where Are We?

We get visitors from all over the USA and the world.

How to Purchase an Instrument

  • Call us about an instrument you are interested in. Sorry, no email orders.
  • USA orders: We will give you a price quote including shipping.
  • Send us a Certified Check, Money Order or Electronic Transfer for the amount.
Sorry, we do not take credit card orders.
  • We'll ship your order the day we receive your money.
  • Thank you for your order!
We ship worldwide.
All domestic orders are shipped Fed Ex Ground unless specified.
All international orders are payable by bank wire transfer or electronic transfer
packed well and then shipped freight collect by the shipping company that you choose..
Contact us for more information.

We do not haggle with prices.
Our items are placed at the lowest possible prices already.

If you see Call next to an instrument that doesn't mean it's expensive.
It means either the manufacturer doesn't permit us to list the price
or (more likely) our webmaster didn't know the price. (Blame that guy).

Got something to trade?
Call first and then bring it in!
